Mario Cuenca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olexandr Zaynchkovskyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Roque George fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TALLERES's protests and gave Roque George a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Roque George. Arsenio Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olexandr Zaynchkovskyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Cuenca having to interfere. Roque George was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to TALLERES getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Roque George hit a great ball. Olexandr Zaynchkovskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The TALLERES fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when TALLERES's Nahuel Bustos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
