If Kostyantyn Bidnyj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, White Hart Lane's Karl-Oskar Gullesson got control of the ball when Kostyantyn Bidnyj tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kostyantyn Bidnyj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. White Hart Lane's Karl-Oskar Gullesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save White Hart Lane from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madryt's zone, Mattias Hjelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ostap Barylko came out of the goal and Mattias Hjelm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Oskar Gullesson was a little too slow when Olexandr Zaynchkovskyi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kostyantyn Bidnyj got free with Karl-Oskar Gullesson in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kostyantyn Bidnyj was the one to do the kick off. The Real Madryt fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Real Madryt's Kostyantyn Bidnyj looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 57th minute, Kostyantyn Bidnyj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Olexandr Zaynchkovskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. White Hart Lane's Karl-Oskar Gullesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olexandr Zaynchkovskyi in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Kostyantyn Bidnyj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Kostyantyn Bidnyj notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of White Hart Lane's Karl-Oskar Gullesson. Karl-Oskar Gullesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl-Oskar Gullesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olexandr Zaynchkovskyi in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kostyantyn Bidnyj in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Oskar Gullesson saved White Hart Lane from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Madryt fans cheered their team off the field, for while White Hart Lane had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
