Spectators: 7567 (Terracing: 5676, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nistor Fenici started the match with the kick off. Alejandro Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Alexa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Petran having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Mystyc FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Indar during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mystyc FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Hector Indar hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, UFC STEAUA's Albert Hodorog dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Palmiro Mourinho kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Ceferino Iraitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costică Petran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the game, UFC STEAUA's Nistor Fenici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejandro Raphael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Costică Petran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, UFC STEAUA's Albert Hodorog got a free kick in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Cordero in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costică Petran saved UFC STEAUA from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Cordero in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costică Petran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the UFC STEAUA defense, Ceferino Iraitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costică Petran. The UFC STEAUA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costică Petran should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, UFC STEAUA's Palmiro Mourinho got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Ceferino Iraitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mystyc FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Iraitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Mystyc FC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Cordero made a kick off. Albert Hodorog scored 3-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Raphael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Belo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 60 minutes into the match, UFC STEAUA's goalkeeper Costică Petran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Cordero. Rigoberto Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Mystyc FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Alexa came free, but Alejandro Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Mystyc FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mystyc FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliodor Bărăian was slow to take the kick. During this time UFC STEAUA's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Emil Alexa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 72nd minute, Albert Hodorog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UFC STEAUA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. The supporters of UFC STEAUA booed when Mystyc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliodor Bărăian, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
