Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Tadeusz Skorny took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ioan Oțeteleșanu. Ioan Oțeteleșanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With an all-out effort, UFC STEAUA's Benedykt Jaroch threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliodor Bărăian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Iosif Călin got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dragoş Bojonca. A hard shot 10 in the game by Filip Băncilă from a close distance when the talented Benedykt Jaroch managed to make a qualified save. Wisła Kraków's players were relieved. A sloppy throw-in by Iosif Călin in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wisła Kraków's Pawel Bondel. 15 minutes into the match, Wisła Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Bojonca came free, but Benedykt Jaroch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Wisła Kraków's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dragoş Bojonca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 19 minutes into the game, Filip Băncilă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benedykt Jaroch. Filip Băncilă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Wisła Kraków's Jacek Polakowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Albu, made in the 24th minute of the game. Benedykt Jaroch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Băncilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Benedykt Jaroch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costică Mangra in the 28th minute. When UFC STEAUA's Filip Băncilă in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wisła Kraków's goalie prevented a goal. After 34th play minutes Filip Băncilă shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Benedykt Jaroch and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Mangra got free with Benedykt Jaroch in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Benedykt Jaroch came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by UFC STEAUA's Filip Băncilă. But to his dismay, Filip Băncilă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 58 minutes into the match, Filip Băncilă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedykt Jaroch. Wisła Kraków's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Băncilă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Martin Albu charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Albu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UFC STEAUA getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Martin Albu hit a great ball. Tadeusz Skorny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedykt Jaroch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Băncilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wisła Kraków's Jacek Polakowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Martin Albu in the 73 minute of the game. The supporters of UFC STEAUA booed when Wisła Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Polakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Eliodor Bărăian notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Wisła Kraków's Benedykt Jaroch. Benedykt Jaroch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedykt Jaroch came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC STEAUA's Filip Băncilă. But to his dismay, Filip Băncilă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Bărăian in the 82nd minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Benedykt Jaroch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwan Ramzinski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
