Leon Oliverio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Émilien Gentilhomme in the 11th minute of the match. If Benedicto Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Magallanes's Benedicto Lano got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Terras during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when Valette Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Terras didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benedicto Lano came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Club Atlético Magallanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Lano couldn't finish the play. Mauro Lobo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Moïse Kerbrat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Magallanes. After having played for 29 minutes, Augusto Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Magallanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Xabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cheikh Toullec hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Lobo during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 55 minutes, Augusto Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moïse Kerbrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Xabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Moïse Kerbrat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Xabier went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cheikh Toullec during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Valette Stars got a freekick which was hit by Cheikh Toullec. In the 73rd minute, Valette Stars's Victorien Jaulin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leon Oliverio. Leon Oliverio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorien Jaulin in the 85th minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Leon Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorien Jaulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Xabier struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Moïse Kerbrat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Magallanes. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moïse Kerbrat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Club Atlético Magallanes were victorious despite being under pressure from Valette Stars for much of the match.
