With a little luck, FK TEPLICE STARS's Ctirad Šilhan got control of the ball when Tim Zondervan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 4 minutes FK TEPLICE STARS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor de Jong who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Victor de Jong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ctirad Šilhan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Tim Zondervan put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ctirad Šilhan. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when FK TEPLICE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Mertlík didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ctirad Šilhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor de Jong, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Zdeněk Koutský hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, FK TEPLICE STARS's Florian Antl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Sibon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 19 minutes into the game, Anatolij Bartko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK TEPLICE STARS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Ontembare Leeuwen the free kick. In the 20thth minute of the game Noel Zimmerman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK TEPLICE STARS's Ctirad Šilhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Sergej Kroužek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ctirad Šilhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Zimmerman in the 22nd minute of play. Sergej Kroužek charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergej Kroužek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zdeněk Koutský hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Noel Zimmerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ctirad Šilhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Božetěch Krákora hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Noel Zimmerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40thth minute of the game Florian Antl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jan Sibon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Noel Zimmerman in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ctirad Šilhan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Zimmerman in the 43rd minute of play forced FK TEPLICE STARS's goalkeeper Ctirad Šilhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK TEPLICE STARS's goalkeeper Ctirad Šilhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noel Zimmerman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Tonnie Nijsse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Ontembare Leeuwen and the FK TEPLICE STARS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jiří Mertlík struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jan Sibon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK TEPLICE STARS. Victor de Jong's late challenge caught a FK TEPLICE STARS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor de Jong helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes De Ontembare Leeuwen got a freekick which was hit by Victor de Jong. In the 56th minute Florian Antl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Sibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ctirad Šilhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Zimmerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stef Mol hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. FK TEPLICE STARS's Ctirad Šilhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Zimmerman in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Noel Zimmerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ctirad Šilhan was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the game, Florian Antl recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan Sibon. Florian Antl showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Jan Sibon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan Sibon was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Anatolij Bartko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anatolij Bartko really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Vlastimil Schreiber kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. FK TEPLICE STARS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
