Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5589, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) FC GURZUN's Iustinian Drăghincescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attilio Fortunato in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Dăianu saved FC GURZUN from getting behind. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Gorjanu in the 11th minute of play. In the 11th minute, FC GURZUN's Augustin Gorjanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. FC GURZUN's Iustinian Drăghincescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Horhoianu during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luca Horhoianu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Iustinian Drăghincescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aurelio Di Lullo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Augustin Gorjanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Augustin Gorjanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attilio Fortunato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Trapcea, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 57th minute of the match. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Horhoianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Augustin Gorjanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. Elia Cicchini hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Iustinian Drăghincescu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Gică Oros threw the ball into play from the sideline. Valdieri's Elia Cicchini quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Remus Sinulescu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 82nd match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Bozzelli to maneuver through the defense. Comunardo Amatori's late challenge caught a FC GURZUN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comunardo Amatori helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Attilio Fortunato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdieri's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Fortunato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Dăianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Iustinian Drăghincescu came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC GURZUN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustinian Drăghincescu couldn't finish the play. Iustinian Drăghincescu took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC GURZUN fully deserved thier win.
