In the 5th minute, Olli-Pekka Suoste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Olli-Pekka Suoste left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vítor Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in SALIMEN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Ademar Guerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olli-Pekka Suoste went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Papillon AC's Olli-Pekka Suoste in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SALIMEN's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th match minute, SALIMEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Xavier to maneuver through the defense. When Papillon AC's Olli-Pekka Suoste in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SALIMEN's goalie prevented a goal. Lenílson de Castro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes SALIMEN got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Santos. In the 38th minute, Olli-Pekka Suoste made a precise shot to the right of Ademar Guerra. SALIMEN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Sebastian Driussi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ademar Guerra came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Papillon AC's Juan Fernando Quintero. But to his dismay, Juan Fernando Quintero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Olli-Pekka Suoste made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olli-Pekka Suoste in the 52nd minute of play forced SALIMEN's goalkeeper Ademar Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademar Guerra made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Olli-Pekka Suoste sent off a good shot on target. Ademar Guerra was a little too slow when Juan Fernando Quintero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-6. A collision led to SALIMEN getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Dráuzio Santos hit a great ball. Ademar Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olli-Pekka Suoste in the 64th minute. SALIMEN's Ademar Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olli-Pekka Suoste in the 67th minute of play. Juan Fernando Quintero took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Guerra. Ademar Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. A collision led to SALIMEN getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Belmiro Baptista hit a great ball. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when SALIMEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenílson de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Armando Bermudo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ademar Guerra skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olli-Pekka Suoste got free with Ademar Guerra in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Machado came free, but Eugenio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Olli-Pekka Suoste recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ademar Guerra. Olli-Pekka Suoste showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. After a rather tough play, SALIMEN's Ernesto Machado got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to Papillon AC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Juan Fernando Quintero hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Alexis Mac Allister was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papillon AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SALIMEN the free kick. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Alexis Mac Allister got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Olli-Pekka Suoste was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papillon AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SALIMEN the free kick. Eugenio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Branco in the 94th minute of the match. The Papillon AC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Papillon AC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
