Walter Erserman lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mosjö Sportklubb fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! 5 minutes into the game, FK Řitka's Bohdan Luňáček nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Lund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alex Choleva kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Oto Bažant cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ted Lund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, Alex Choleva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Řitka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mosjö Sportklubb the free kick. The supporters of Mosjö Sportklubb booed when FK Řitka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Choleva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaroslav Pavelka in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ted Lund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 played minutes Mosjö Sportklubb got a freekick which was hit by Alex Isaksson. In the 32nd minute Rade Gast shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Oto Bažant cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ted Lund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Billy Lindström kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Rade Gast might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ted Lund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rade Gast ran back to his position shaking his head. After 43 played minutes FK Řitka got a freekick which was hit by Lešek Krejča. If Leif Stolpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 52 minutes, Jan Blecha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Řitka and the Mosjö Sportklubb players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FK Řitka getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jan Blecha hit a great ball. When Folke Isaksson came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Mosjö Sportklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Isaksson couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Leif Stolpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radek Pivovar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kennet Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Radek Pivovar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon Jonsson's late challenge caught a FK Řitka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon Jonsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Jon Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaroslav Pavelka hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Jaroslav Pavelka got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for FK Řitka. Rade Gast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ted Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kennet Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rade Gast hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes, Mosjö Sportklubb's Folke Isaksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radek Pivovar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mosjö Sportklubb reached it. The FK Řitka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FK Řitka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
