If Elói Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornel Bourceanu in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vitório Britto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Constantin Mihu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Gustavo de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Gustavo de Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Gustavo de Lima hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Cornel Doman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes, Elói Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebra Ossos FC and the Juventus PTM players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when Quebra Ossos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Cornel Bourceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quebra Ossos FC's Vitório Britto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Queirós to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Bourceanu came free, but Vitório Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitório Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Mihu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantin Mihu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornel Bourceanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vitório Britto came out and tried to block the shot, but Cornel Bourceanu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute Constantin Mihu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Constantin Mihu came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Juventus PTM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin Mihu couldn't finish the play. Constantin Mihu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Vitório Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elói Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Quebra Ossos FC's zone, Constantin Mihu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Britto came out of the goal and Constantin Mihu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitório Britto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cornel Bourceanu's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Cornel Bourceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Juventus PTM getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Constantin Mihu hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elói Branco got free with Virgil Lixandru in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th match minute, Juventus PTM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Silişteanu to maneuver through the defense. Cornel Bourceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vitório Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Salles. In the 75th minute, Constantin Mihu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitório Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Constantin Mihu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitório Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Bourceanu in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Cornel Bourceanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus PTM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After having played for 85 minutes, Cornel Bourceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus PTM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Bourceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Elói Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Lixandru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantin Mihu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vitório Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Ronaldão dos Santos got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes, Juventus PTM's Cornel Doman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitório Britto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventus PTM reached it. In the 94th minute, Cornel Bourceanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus PTM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Juventus PTM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
