The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, 钱坚奕 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's 霍元甲 Wu got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dénes Boross got free with 蔡明适 in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If 钱坚奕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Dénes Boross got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gusztáv Győrffy kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's 彭帆亮 got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 35 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Attila Gerebics. In the 40th match minute, ≮王者归来≯国际米兰 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 任迪斌 to maneuver through the defense. 武斐延 hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Gusztáv Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 钱坚奕, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 钱坚奕 made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, 钱坚奕 managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's supporters rose to their feet, but 钱坚奕 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gusztáv Jászberényi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 曹浩杰 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gusztáv Jászberényi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dénes Boross in the 55th minute of play forced ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's goalkeeper 蔡明适 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Jakó. 曹浩杰 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gusztáv Jászberényi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dénes Boross scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 蔡明适, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Krisztián György hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's 武斐延 tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Attila Gerebics nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 蔡明适 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when ≮王者归来≯国际米兰 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. 钱坚奕 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dénes Boross to maneuver through the defense. Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Jászberényi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 钱坚奕 in the 80th minute of play. 蔡明适 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dénes Boross went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 蔡明适 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Vörös in the 90th minute of play. 武斐延's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gusztáv Jászberényi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 霍元甲 Wu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯国际米兰's goal looked a bit too open when Dénes Boross came free, but 蔡明适 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Szombathely Squirrels were the better team. Szombathely Squirrels's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
