The referee ignored Szombathely Squirrels's protests and gave Gusztáv Győrffy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Mauro Millan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gusztáv Jászberényi. The goal made the score 1-2. Honorio Sayvion hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Aurelio Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dániel Baráth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihály Csontos made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Attila Gerebics immediately put the ball in play. 45 minutes into the game, Honorio Sayvion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mezh Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szombathely Squirrels the free kick. Szombathely Squirrels were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Mezh Team's much stronger midfield.
