Spectators: 7608 (Terracing: 5707, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mingo Torrente started the match with the kick off. Nestor Tabb's late challenge caught a Dymarki Wejherowo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Tabb helped the player get up and apologised. Newells Old Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Oladipupo Kupareo scored to the left of an out of position Leon Bartuelo, making the score, 1-0. With 15 minutes on the clock, Joaquin Jerrald commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 15 played minutes Newells Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Jerrald. After having played for 16 minutes, Olaf Brzakala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dymarki Wejherowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Brzakala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anacleto Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Anacleto Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Debkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Dabrowski's late challenge caught a Newells Old Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Napoleon Debkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th match minute, Dymarki Wejherowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Cholewa to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Bernard Jaworski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Newells Old Boys's Mingo Torrente got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oladipupo Kupareo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Newells Old Boys booed when Dymarki Wejherowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tam Paadam didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oladipupo Kupareo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oladipupo Kupareo in the 52nd minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Leon Bartuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Santo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Leon Bartuelo came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Dymarki Wejherowo's Oladipupo Kupareo. But to his dismay, Oladipupo Kupareo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 63rd minute Oladipupo Kupareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Bartuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bernard Jaworski fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dymarki Wejherowo's protests and gave Bernard Jaworski a yellow card for diving instead. Newells Old Boys made a substitution. Severo Poz replaced Anacleto Clementi. Bernard Jaworski kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Newells Old Boys's Leon Bartuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Dombrowski in the 68th minute of play. Severo Poz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Newells Old Boys booed when Dymarki Wejherowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Brzakala didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Prospero Santo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Bernard Jaworski got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 82nd match minute, Dymarki Wejherowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Jaworski to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dymarki Wejherowo getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Sylwester Cholewa hit a great ball. In the 90th match minute, Newells Old Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mingo Torrente to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dymarki Wejherowo had won after a very even match.
