The throw-in from Gürbüz Kurceren in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ......'s Şansal Uçkun. 14 minutes into the match, ......'s goal looked a bit too open when Recep Talha Ilgın came free, but Poyraz Tümerkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, ......'s Bedih Şerafeddin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Reşit was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the game, Şansal Uçkun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ......'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gençlerbirliği the free kick. Uygur Gülsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Poyraz Tümerkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Reşit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serkan Uraltay went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ali Reşit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedih Şerafeddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şansal Uçkun kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ali Reşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedih Şerafeddin in the 38th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes ...... got a freekick which was hit by Serkan Uraltay. After a defensive mix-up in Gençlerbirliği's zone, Bedih Şerafeddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Reşit came out of the goal and Bedih Şerafeddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uygur Gülsoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Eralp İhtiyar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Reşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedih Şerafeddin in the 54th minute of play. When Serkan Uraltay fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ......'s protests and gave Serkan Uraltay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Serkan Uraltay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Recep Talha Ilgın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gençlerbirliği's supporters rose to their feet, but Recep Talha Ilgın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Poyraz Tümerkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şansal Uçkun hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Cüneyd Umman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Serkan Uraltay struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ali Reşit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ....... 82 minutes into the game, Serkan Uraltay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ali Reşit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cüneyd Umman kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gençlerbirliği's zone, Bedih Şerafeddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Reşit came out of the goal and Bedih Şerafeddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ......'s Poyraz Tümerkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uygur Gülsoy in the 89th minute of play. Poyraz Tümerkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Recep Talha Ilgın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bedih Şerafeddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ...... walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
