The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Angelino Bernard hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, El Retorno de Palermo's Gerardo Oalo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gerardo Oalo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of El Retorno de Palermo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gerardo Oalo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 10 minutes into the match, David Paublo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TÜRKİSTAN 61's Kubilay Talay. Kubilay Talay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pascual Porfirio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yiğitcan Samih, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. David Paublo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubilay Talay having to interfere. David Paublo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When El Retorno de Palermo's David Paublo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TÜRKİSTAN 61's goalie prevented a goal. Pascual Porfirio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkın Çağlayan in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkın Çağlayan in the 31st minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Pascual Porfirio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TÜRKİSTAN 61 booed when El Retorno de Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Paublo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Sergio Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kubilay Talay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Paublo's late challenge caught a TÜRKİSTAN 61's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Paublo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Paublo to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Paublo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kubilay Talay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Bernard in the 54th minute. El Retorno de Palermo's Pascual Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkın Çağlayan in the 55th minute of play. Kubilay Talay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Paublo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. Celestino Nataniel's late challenge caught a TÜRKİSTAN 61's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Nataniel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Celestino Nataniel got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 65 minutes, Boğaçhan Aydınalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TÜRKİSTAN 61 and the El Retorno de Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in TÜRKİSTAN 61's zone, Angelino Bernard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kubilay Talay came out of the goal and Angelino Bernard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Arkın Çağlayan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of El Retorno de Palermo echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as TÜRKİSTAN 61 had held the ball for most of the match.
