Benito Bastidas hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Mikel Mancilla came free, but Cido da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Menéndez Sigorraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siwox Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Menéndez Sigorraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Miguel de Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Matungo Gaúcho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel de Andrade couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel de Andrade during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Guga Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jasone Ovando made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guga Souza in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jasone Ovando saved Siwox Fc from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Fernando Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matungo Gaúcho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Siwox Fc the free kick. Fernando Lara hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jasone Ovando made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Miguel de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. When Tião Neves fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matungo Gaúcho's protests and gave Tião Neves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Matungo Gaúcho's Tião Neves got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Mikel Mancilla notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Matungo Gaúcho's Cido da Rocha. Cido da Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel de Andrade hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Mikel Mancilla made the kick off in the second half. If Dário da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guga Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Lara hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, Matungo Gaúcho's Miguel de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jasone Ovando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Siwox Fc's Jasone Ovando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel de Andrade in the 74th minute of play. Matungo Gaúcho's Tião Neves quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Solis, made in the 77th minute of the game. After 78 played minutes Matungo Gaúcho got a freekick which was hit by Guga Souza. Matungo Gaúcho's Guga Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Menéndez Sigorraga came free, but Cido da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jasone Ovando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Siwox Fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
