Lars-Erik Forsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Vilgot Lundhberg put in a rough tackle. In the 42nd minute, Esquipula Ascarza made a precise shot to the right of Lars-Erik Forsberg. Bloodthirsty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Lars-Erik Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silbestre Ochagavia, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Bloodthirsty FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ASI NOMAS FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esquipula Ascarza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Olov Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sagrario Adan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Bäcklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Bloodthirsty FC's Börge Sjöberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sagrario Adan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Olov Hellström took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sagrario Adan. Sagrario Adan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASI NOMAS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eddie Jernberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Bloodthirsty FC's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, ASI NOMAS FC's Armando Irazu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Kent Bäcklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sagrario Adan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as ASI NOMAS FC's Chuse Dopacio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lars-Erik Forsberg. That made the score 2-4 after 75 minutes of play. Eddie Jernberg hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. ASI NOMAS FC's attentive Eladio Barajas managed to snatch the ball when Anders Njurenius made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. After having played for 82 minutes, Kent Bäcklin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bloodthirsty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Bäcklin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars-Erik Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esquipula Ascarza in the 84th minute of play. ASI NOMAS FC's Sagrario Adan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Sjöberg in the 86th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Forsberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Irazu. When the match was over ASI NOMAS FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bloodthirsty FC throughout the match.
