Gláuber Mattos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Brasil came free, but Cristo Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Tony Dias got a free kick in the 30th minute. Evelio Lastras kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Cristo Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Brasil in the 42nd minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Cristo Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Real Club Celta de Vigo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Júlio Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Cristo Rico made a huge save. In the 85th match minute, Real Club Celta de Vigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peri Jorquera to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Rico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Brasil in the 87th minute. Cristo Rico was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Júlio Brasil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
