Corneliu Vârșan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corneliu Vârșan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Castulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The corner led Franja Dorada's Isidro Cordeal to fire away a dangerous shot which Corneliu Vârșan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Franja Dorada's Raul Castulo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Vârșan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 29th minute, Natalio Milio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Iorda came free, but Venancio Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Iustin Iorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A hard shot by Ferdinand Mihălțan from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Venancio Hodei's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 42nd minute, Tornadele Siret's Călin Paulică ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Venancio Hodei. Venancio Hodei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 45 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Iorda came free, but Venancio Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Tornadele Siret players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Franja Dorada were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Alfonso Palban made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Manafu in the 56th minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Venancio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Eusebiu Davidescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tornadele Siret's Corneliu Vârșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Napier in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Franja Dorada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Napier to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Cristian Ignătoiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Hodei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Manafu in the 72nd minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Venancio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franja Dorada's Moises Napier got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iustin Iorda didn't quite understand what happened when in the 81 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The crowd rose to their feet as Franja Dorada's Raul Castulo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Corneliu Vârșan. That made the score 1-4 after 87 minutes of play. A collision led to Tornadele Siret getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Călin Paulică hit a great ball.
