Remigiusz Madej made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Diguinho Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. Eusébio Albuquerque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbyszko Bartochowski's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. MZetowe Mastodonty's Remigiusz Madej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. Remigiusz Madej came out of the goal and Vito Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Montenegro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszko Bartochowski in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zbyszko Bartochowski made a kick off. A collision led to Santo Amaro AC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Júnior Capixaba hit a great ball. Jean Arantes was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th minute, Radomir Skikiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Albuquerque. Santo Amaro AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Santo Amaro AC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Diguinho Ortiz hit a great ball. Zbyszko Bartochowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Albuquerque having to make a save. In the 67th minute Ricardinho Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes MZetowe Mastodonty got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Klawke. Adam Wawro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Salgado during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MZetowe Mastodonty booed when Santo Amaro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusébio Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Wawro in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Duarte Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santo Amaro AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MZetowe Mastodonty the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Santo Amaro AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MZetowe Mastodonty:s goal. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for MZetowe Mastodonty. Mariusz Ankiewicz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eusébio Albuquerque. 2-2. 87 minutes into the match, Dorian de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigiusz Madej. MZetowe Mastodonty's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorian de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Remigiusz Madej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Santo Amaro AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while MZetowe Mastodonty had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
