The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guifre Eguilaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xano Odín in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Elia got free with Siro Casillas in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 played minutes Tiburones Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Tristan. Guifre Eguilaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Gasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Xano Odín kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Siro Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Tristan in the 18th minute of the match. After 24 minutes, Sigfrido Teruel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Armal F.C. and the Tiburones Rojos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sigfrido Teruel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Elia got free with Siro Casillas in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guifre Eguilaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xano Odín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tiburones Rojos booed when Real Armal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Gasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Real Armal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Lain came free, but Siro Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Casillas made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Marcelo Elia sent off a good shot on target. If Marcelo Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Lain in the 47th minute of play forced Real Armal F.C.'s goalkeeper Siro Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Lain to make the kick off. Teodosio Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Casillas having to interfere. Siro Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Elia in the 55th minute of play. After 55 minutes of play Real Armal F.C.'s Sigfrido Teruel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sigfrido Teruel kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Sixto Tristan took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Casillas. Siro Casillas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Real Armal F.C.'s Xano Odín got a free kick in the 69th minute. Real Armal F.C.'s Siro Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Lain in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Armal F.C.'s zone, Teodosio Lain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Casillas came out of the goal and Teodosio Lain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferman Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Siro Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Venceslao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
