Kenneth van der Leegte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Vedat Arslanoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doctor Özcakir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth van der Leegte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Lions Of Turks got a corner. SV Wissenkerke's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Çetin Özdoru ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Kenneth van der Leegte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kenneth van der Leegte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vedat Arslanoğlu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth van der Leegte. Kenneth van der Leegte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. SV Wissenkerke's Kenneth van der Leegte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 27th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Lions Of Turks's Vedat Arslanoğlu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth van der Leegte was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 41st minute of play forced SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Kenneth van der Leegte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Vedat Arslanoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth van der Leegte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Arif Buğra Onursu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions Of Turks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Buğra Onursu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans Oude Kamphuis's late challenge caught a Lions Of Turks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Oude Kamphuis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lions Of Turks booed when SV Wissenkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Oude Kamphuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vedat Arslanoğlu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Kenneth van der Leegte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lions Of Turks. SV Wissenkerke's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Vedat Arslanoğlu scored to the left of an out of position Kenneth van der Leegte, making the score, 0-5. During the 65th minute of the match Hans Oude Kamphuis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hans Oude Kamphuis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 66th match minute, SV Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Oude Kamphuis to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Vedat Arslanoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth van der Leegte. SV Wissenkerke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vedat Arslanoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Lions Of Turks's attentive Tony Palmeira managed to snatch the ball when Frits van Loo made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. In the 75th minute Vedat Arslanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth van der Leegte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Buğra Onursu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth van der Leegte having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Vedat Arslanoğlu came free, but Kenneth van der Leegte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vedat Arslanoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenneth van der Leegte having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Vedat Arslanoğlu came free, but Kenneth van der Leegte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Sadri Fidan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leendert Looze took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cengiz Bozbey. Lions Of Turks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st minute, Philip Zevenhuizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Vedat Arslanoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Kenneth van der Leegte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lions Of Turks played a much better game than SV Wissenkerke and deserved their victory. The SV Wissenkerke players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
