Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Lions Of Turks's Vedat Arslanoğlu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Birger Verhoeven made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mathias-Alexander Pellegrims. In the 12th minute, Vedat Arslanoğlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arend Van Beneden. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 22nd minute Steven De Kelper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengiz Bozbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Lions Of Turks defense, Steven De Kelper kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cengiz Bozbey. The Lions Of Turks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cengiz Bozbey should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Vedat Arslanoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arend Van Beneden. Bacardi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vedat Arslanoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 36th minute, Vedat Arslanoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arend Van Beneden was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vedat Arslanoğlu during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lions Of Turks getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Vedat Arslanoğlu hit a great ball. Birger Verhoeven kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diederick Meulders was the one to do the kick off. Bacardi FC's Arend Van Beneden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 57th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Arend Van Beneden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doctor Özcakir struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Arend Van Beneden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lions Of Turks. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doctor Özcakir during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when Lions Of Turks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doctor Özcakir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vedat Arslanoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sadri Fidan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Vedat Arslanoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Arend Van Beneden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Vedat Arslanoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arend Van Beneden was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Bacardi FC's Andrew Van Baerlem was substituted for Xander Steurms. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Vedat Arslanoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions Of Turks's supporters rose to their feet, but Vedat Arslanoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arend Van Beneden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arend Van Beneden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doctor Özcakir, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Georges Engelberchs hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lions Of Turks fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bacardi FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
