Jabaquara SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeu de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Jabaquara SC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Porto. After 98 minutes, Quique Hrabina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jabaquara SC and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th minute, Quique Hrabina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99thth minute of the game Luis Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, Boca Juniors failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
