Wiliam Cardozo got a throw-in 5 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Téo Rodrigues. 8 minutes into the match, Gnisvärd bk's goalkeeper Stefan Viberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tião de Medeiros. 10 minutes into the match, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Rudkvist came free, but Dé Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Rudkvist in the 11th minute of play forced Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalkeeper Dé Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elder Vaz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Stefan Viberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Göran Rudkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Elder Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elder Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Stefan Viberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dé Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Rudkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Mathias Dahlquist put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dé Souza. Stefan Viberg made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Elder Vaz sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Elder Vaz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Stefan Viberg to make any attempt to save it. When Gil Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Soeiro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Rudkvist in the 40th minute of play forced Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalkeeper Dé Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Göran Rudkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 51 minutes, Téo Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG and the Gnisvärd bk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Téo Rodrigues. Dieguinho Arce hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gnisvärd bk's Mathias Dahlquist got a free kick in the 57th minute. Stefan Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gnisvärd bk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdo Gonçalves was slow to take the kick. During this time Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's players had a chance to rest. Elder Vaz made a great header on Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's corner, it was just that Gnisvärd bk's Stefan Viberg managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Váldson Lopes hit a great ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Elder Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnisvärd bk's Stefan Viberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stefan Viberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elder Vaz's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 94thth minute of the game Mathias Dahlquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Dé Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stefan Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Vaz in the 95th minute of play. After 97 minutes Gnisvärd bk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdo Gonçalves who took care of the corner kick. Gnisvärd bk's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
