After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Jânio Arantes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Bailão De Munique FC's zone, Laércio Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Cardozo came out of the goal and Laércio Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th match minute, Bailão De Munique FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Agua Santa made a substitution. Olavo Vianna replaced Cléberson do Valle. Agua Santa's Pedro Luís Arantes was substituted for Murilo Fernandes.
