Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) FC Fanaticii's Marius Măgură started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chamaicó's Roberto Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Bărăian in the 5th minute of play. Emanuel Giurcă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Casomiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fanaticii's zone, Domingos Leguizamón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Giurcă came out of the goal and Domingos Leguizamón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Felix Minda notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chamaicó's Roberto Pirro. Roberto Pirro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delmar Vermudo made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ivan Casomiro however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fanaticii's zone, Ivan Casomiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Giurcă came out of the goal and Ivan Casomiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Giurcă made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ivan Casomiro sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Chamaicó's Mateo Serapio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Giurcă. That made the score 1-2 after 30 minutes of play. Emanuel Giurcă was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateo Serapio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 39 minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Mareș to maneuver through the defense. Chamaicó's Roberto Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Panait in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Emanuel Giurcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Casomiro in the 51st minute of the match. Mateo Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Emanuel Giurcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Casomiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Giurcă having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Casomiro in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Giurcă saved FC Fanaticii from getting behind. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Fanaticii's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mateo Serapio was slow to take the kick. During this time Chamaicó's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Chamaicó's corner Mateo Serapio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuel Giurcă quite easily take care of the ball. After 60 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Mareș. After a rather tough play, Chamaicó's Norberto Breogan got a free kick in the 61st minute. Constantin Mareș charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantin Mareș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Constantin Mareș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Ivan Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Giurcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Casomiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Emanuel Giurcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Panait got free with Roberto Pirro in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, Ivan Casomiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Fanaticii booed when Chamaicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Vermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Breogan hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. FC Fanaticii succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chamaicó had controlled the match.
