After 12 minutes, Șerban Nanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fanaticii and the Vaqueteros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Șerban Nanu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Orlando Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Melchor Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Fanaticii booed when Vaqueteros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Rencio made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Fanaticii's Mugurel Bărăian. Emanuel Giurcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Lastur in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, FC Fanaticii's Olimpiu Panait nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Dorio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Marcelo Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Giurcă having to interfere. In the 39th minute Marcelo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Giurcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marius Măgură charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marius Măgură the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Marius Măgură. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Melchor Asier made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Zotincă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaqueteros FC the free kick. Florentino Lastur scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Giurcă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olimpiu Panait in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Dorio saved Vaqueteros FC from getting behind. Emanuel Giurcă came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Vaqueteros FC's Melchor Asier. But to his dismay, Melchor Asier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Orlando Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Giurcă having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Vaqueteros FC's Melchor Asier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 75 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Lastur came free, but Emanuel Giurcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Giurcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Lastur in the 77th minute of the match. Ezequiel Rencio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fanaticii's zone, Florentino Lastur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Giurcă came out of the goal and Florentino Lastur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Mareș during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Constantin Mareș hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Abel Dimas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Giurcă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Emanuel Giurcă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Marin. Vaqueteros FC's Melchor Asier got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Vaqueteros FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Fanaticii.
