Mugurel Bărăian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Giovani Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Felix Minda fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fanaticii's protests and gave Felix Minda a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Minda hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Șerban Nanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giovani Moura. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 20th minute, Șerban Nanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Pivniceru to maneuver through the defense. When Erasmo Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calesso FC's protests and gave Erasmo Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Erasmo Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, FC Fanaticii's Șerban Nanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovani Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of Calesso FC booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Nanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Minda to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Paulo Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Dito Pontes with Hernani Rossi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Walmyr Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Olimpiu Panait shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Fanaticii's Olimpiu Panait managed to work through Calesso FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Olimpiu Panait dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Șerban Nanu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovani Moura. Giovani Moura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Giovani Moura came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fanaticii's Șerban Nanu. But to his dismay, Șerban Nanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Calesso FC's Giovani Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Nanu in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Calesso FC defense, Șerban Nanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovani Moura. The Calesso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovani Moura should have stopped the shot. Calesso FC's Giovani Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Măgură in the 74th minute of play. Calesso FC's Hermínio Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giovani Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Nanu in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Șerban Nanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Șerban Nanu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fanaticii's protests and gave Șerban Nanu a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Calesso FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Fanaticii.
