Spectators: 7583 (Terracing: 5688, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hajredin Kukovič kicked off to start the match. Amancio Magdaleno came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Hajredin Kukovič. But to his dismay, Hajredin Kukovič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Grozdan Cof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Mundo in the 8th minute of play. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Amancio Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hajredin Kukovič in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Amancio Magdaleno got control of the ball when Hajredin Kukovič tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to NEWELL´S OLD BOYS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Baltasar Rios hit a great ball. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Amancio Magdaleno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Formerio came free, but Grozdan Cof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hajredin Kukovič scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Magdaleno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Antonio Mundo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's protests and gave Antonio Mundo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Antonio Mundo got a free kick in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Hajredin Kukovič dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amancio Magdaleno, 3-0. Hajredin Kukovič blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Magdaleno having to make a save. Apolo Richie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Grozdan Cof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Goiz in the 41st minute of play. When Hajredin Kukovič came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the AISNEREN PATRIOTS ® fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hajredin Kukovič couldn't finish the play. After 46 minutes, Dante Quintan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS and the AISNEREN PATRIOTS ® players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dante Quintan hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Guerino Dovnik kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Richie to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Tadej Pogačar got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Antonio Mundo could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Grozdan Cof however easily saved by the left post. In the 56th minute, Hajredin Kukovič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hajredin Kukovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Hajredin Kukovič got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amancio Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hajredin Kukovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 78 minutes of play, AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Hajredin Kukovič made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Magdaleno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grozdan Cof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Formerio in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Apolo Richie who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Adolfo Caitano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Grozdan Cof did a great save. In the 85th match minute, AISNEREN PATRIOTS ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borislav Kersnič to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Apolo Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grozdan Cof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that AISNEREN PATRIOTS ® were the better team. AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
