The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Navarro to strike the kick off in the second half. Carsten Hebert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Cordarrel in the 51st minute. Huub Genkenaar's late challenge caught a Altos Gatos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Altos Gatos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
