After a rather tough play, Villa Verde FC's Antônio Carlos Madureira got a free kick in the 5th minute. Angel Isusko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Camargo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Isusko in the 10th minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Igor Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Barros in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Villa Verde FC's Luís Fernando Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Gaufred made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 26th match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Argina to maneuver through the defense. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Ceresso in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Antônio Carlos Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piratas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Luís Fernando Barros scored to the left of an out of position Victorino Gaufred, making the score, 2-0. In the 36th minute Afonso Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Duarte's late challenge caught a Piratas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Villa Verde FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Claudinei Duarte hit a great ball. Victorino Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nunez Hernandez hit a great ball. Igor Camargo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Piratas FC's Nunez Hernandez. But to his dismay, Nunez Hernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Baiano to make the kick off. When Villa Verde FC's Antônio Carlos Madureira in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piratas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Afonso Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willian Vergílio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Angel Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piratas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Isusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Madureira in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Villa Verde FC's Luís Fernando Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Gaufred made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Arí Lucas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Igor Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Victorino Gaufred stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fernando Barros's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Victorino Gaufred came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Verde FC's Luís Fernando Barros. But to his dismay, Luís Fernando Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. A collision led to Villa Verde FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Madureira hit a great ball. Antônio Carlos Madureira struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Victorino Gaufred didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Verde FC. In the 95th minute, Angel Isusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Villa Verde FC fully deserved thier win.
