KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Mieszko Majusiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Soter in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Czeslaw Domala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rigoberto Ilixo. That made the score 2-2 in the 37 minute of play. After a rather tough play, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Zachariasz Henryk got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mieszko Majusiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Salomon in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Zachariasz Henryk hit a great ball. After 54 minutes of play, Astros de México's Vito Quintal made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mieszko Majusiak was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Zachariasz Henryk fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's protests and gave Zachariasz Henryk a yellow card for diving instead. Zachariasz Henryk kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Astros de México's Angulo Cabañero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mieszko Majusiak narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
