Rafael Abeita made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Sidnei Dracena sent off a good shot on target. Amadeo Medero scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celsinho Terra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Engenheiros da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Celipe came free, but Celsinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Amadeo Medero made a precise shot to the right of Celsinho Terra. Engenheiros da Vila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 20 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Isidor. In the 25th minute Amadeo Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Rodrigues lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for CLATHU. Atilano Celipe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Celsinho Terra. 0-3. Celsinho Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Sabin in the 35th minute of the match. Atilano Celipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Amadeo Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Engenheiros da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Celipe came free, but Celsinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Celipe in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Terra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute Amadeo Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Atilano Celipe made the kick off in the second half. Jonas Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Engenheiros da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Cearense. Celsinho Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilano Celipe in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes, Amadeo Medero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLATHU and the Engenheiros da Vila players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeo Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jacobo Sabin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Engenheiros da Vila's Celsinho Terra got control of the ball when Atilano Celipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Engenheiros da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Medero came free, but Celsinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidnei Dracena hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Celsinho Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Medero in the 67th minute of play. Celsinho Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Medero in the 68th minute. Amadeo Medero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celsinho Terra came out and tried to block the shot, but Amadeo Medero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 70th minute. Celsinho Terra was a little too slow when Anibal Txema got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-5. With a little luck, Engenheiros da Vila's Celsinho Terra got control of the ball when Atilano Celipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raúl Souza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Javier Garaona from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Celsinho Terra's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Txema in the 91st minute of play forced Engenheiros da Vila's goalkeeper Celsinho Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Dracena hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Celsinho Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Engenheiros da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Celipe came free, but Celsinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Engenheiros da Vila supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CLATHU's performance. The match ended with a win for CLATHU.
