After a defensive mix-up in Diablos Rojos's zone, Duda de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Villamañan came out of the goal and Duda de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Gino de Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Celestino Villamañan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Xaime Guillarte hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Diablos Rojos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Denílson Faria shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 32 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Durango. Jaime Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Celestino Villamañan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes, Gino de Lima made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Diablos Rojos's Celestino Villamañan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Frantxizko Serra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Izaltina FAD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
