Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vágner Sergipano took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's Arthur Rannou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belo Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Arthur Rannou scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Augusto Eger, making the score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Charles-Emmanuel Castelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Augusto Eger. Belo Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles-Emmanuel Castelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 13th minute, Arthur Rannou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Augusto Eger. The goal made the score 3-0. Carlos Augusto Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Rannou, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Charles-Emmanuel Castelli. Chaponnay FC's Dilan Bobet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Sergipano in the 24th minute of play. Dilan Bobet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Rannou in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Augusto Eger saved Belo Academy from getting behind. After 39 minutes of play, Chaponnay FC's Charles-Emmanuel Castelli made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Augusto Eger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arthur Rannou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Augusto Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Charles-Emmanuel Castelli made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Chaponnay FC's Charles-Emmanuel Castelli got a free kick in the 51st minute. Dilan Bobet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubens Félix in the 58th minute. After 64 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Carrier. Charles-Emmanuel Castelli got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Charles-Emmanuel Castelli kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Kevan Brossier fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chaponnay FC's protests and gave Kevan Brossier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Belo Academy booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevan Brossier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Rannou in the 82nd minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vágner Sergipano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dilan Bobet was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. A beautiful save bye Belo Academy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute, Kevan Brossier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chaponnay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Chaponnay FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Belo Academy for a fine match.
