The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 18 minutes into the match, Cementerio Club's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Rannou came free, but Clodoveo Donzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Rannou struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Clodoveo Donzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaponnay FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Rannou in the 34th minute of play forced Cementerio Club's goalkeeper Clodoveo Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Rannou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clodoveo Donzel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arthur Rannou went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Clodoveo Donzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevan Brossier in the 45th minute of the match. Yoann Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Cementerio Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chaponnay FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles-Emmanuel Castelli to make the kick off. A collision led to Cementerio Club getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Aaron Fagildo hit a great ball. Bakary Ramsamy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Ezequiel Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilan Bobet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevan Brossier's late challenge caught a Cementerio Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevan Brossier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevan Brossier to maneuver through the defense. If Ezequiel Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Rannou, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Chaponnay FC booed when Cementerio Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Elodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevan Brossier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clodoveo Donzel. That made the score 0-2 in the 85 minute of play. In the 95th minute Arthur Rannou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
