But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Rico couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Ezequiel Pinto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fidel Rico who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Marian Bălan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting a goal against them. Fidel Rico's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marian Bălan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cementerio Club's Emilio Maureo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aron Neaga, made in the 18th minute of the game. Aron Neaga hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Pinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Bălan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Pinto ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Pinto came free, but Marian Bălan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Bălan made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Fidel Rico sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cementerio Club:s goal. If Bonifacio Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

In the 54th minute, Fidel Rico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cementerio Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 59 minutes into the game, Aron Neaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cementerio Club the free kick. Aron Neaga kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Aron Neaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Bălan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Pinto in the 66th minute of the match. Marian Bălan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Fidel Rico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Bălan was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Marian Bălan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Cementerio Club were the better team. Cementerio Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
