After 7 minutes, Brandon Teisseire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaponnay FC and the Purcaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chaponnay FC's Brandon Teisseire got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Brandon Teisseire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damian Toader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Rannou, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 20 minutes, Brandon Teisseire made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Yoann Miranda hit a great ball. Kevan Brossier charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevan Brossier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevan Brossier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Chaponnay FC's Arthur Rannou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damian Toader. Damian Toader yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Arthur Rannou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Damian Toader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Bacanu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevan Brossier in the 43rd minute of play. Eugen Tiberiu took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dilan Bobet. Dilan Bobet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinu Aursulesei was the one to do the kick off. Ernest Dăianu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Brandon Teisseire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Damian Toader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Rannou scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Toader, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arthur Rannou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Toader read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevan Brossier. In the 71st minute, Steve Carrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77thth minute of the game Charles-Emmanuel Castelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevan Brossier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Toader didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Chaponnay FC's Charles-Emmanuel Castelli shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Arthur Rannou might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Toader. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
