But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Chaib couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Quirós in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck El Otman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alejandro Urane hit a great ball. Amar Fadela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Leonidas Barrera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Buenaventura FC booed when Chop Chop F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Merbah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Chop Chop F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Romel Torrijos came free, but El Otman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonidas Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krim Beloufa in the 19th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Fernandez. A collision led to Chop Chop F.C. getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Krim Beloufa hit a great ball. Lakhdar Souakri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amar Fadela in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderrahmane Fellahi in the 33rd minute of play. Abderrahmane Fellahi scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonidas Barrera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lakhdar Souakri got free with Leonidas Barrera in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Totín Henríguez's late challenge caught a Chop Chop F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Totín Henríguez helped the player get up and apologised. Leonidas Barrera made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Amar Fadela sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Christian Quirós came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and El Otman could save by the left post. Leonidas Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amar Fadela in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Abderrahmane Fellahi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonidas Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Christian Quirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenaventura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Quirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krim Beloufa in the 73rd minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Mohamed Chaib notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera. Leonidas Barrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chop Chop F.C.'s Chakib Hadjar was substituted for Abderrahmane Fellahi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Martínez in the 92nd minute of play forced Chop Chop F.C.'s goalkeeper El Otman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Chop Chop F.C. were the better team. Chop Chop F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
