In the 3rd minute, Motu's Horacio Harriet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juarês Corrêa. Juarês Corrêa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13thth minute of the game Horacio Harriet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 27 de Mayo's Juarês Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by José Vítor Pinheiro with Dedê de Senna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Juarês Corrêa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horacio Harriet went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute of the game José Vítor Pinheiro made a throw-in which Dedê de Senna played forward. Horacio Harriet in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juarês Corrêa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Horacio Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Harriet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Juarês Corrêa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The throw-in from José Vítor Pinheiro in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Motu's Cornelio Abreu. The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when Motu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

27 de Mayo's Juarês Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Harriet in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Harriet in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juarês Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Harriet in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Horacio Harriet notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of 27 de Mayo's Juarês Corrêa. Juarês Corrêa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 minutes, Miguel Porfiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Motu and the 27 de Mayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Motu getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Miguel Porfiro hit a great ball. After 73 minutes of play, Motu's Horacio Harriet made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juarês Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th match minute, 27 de Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Juarês Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Harriet in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juarês Corrêa saved 27 de Mayo from getting behind. Horacio Harriet scored 5-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juarês Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Atilano Goizeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Motu players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
