The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Alströmmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Axel Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Valström came free, but Conny Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conny Mattsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Nordström came free, but Conny Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conny Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Valström in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Myggenäs IFK's Sverker Tomasson got a free kick in the 71st minute. Axel Samuelsson shot from long distance after 71 played minutes, a shot that Conny Mattsson with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Conny Mattsson came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Lions FC's Leif Västlund. But to his dismay, Leif Västlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ove Alströmmer charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ove Alströmmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Myggenäs IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Alströmmer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Samuelsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Conny Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Alex Nordström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conny Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. There was no doubt that Golden Lions FC were the better team. Golden Lions FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
