Alberto Giorda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Arrigo Di Crescenzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Wang in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Giorda saved Merceron United from getting behind. Merceron United's Emilio Conti got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Domenico Dickerson managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Merceron United's Emilio Conti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melvin Hathaway in the 20th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Alberto Giorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Pizzi charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Pizzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frank Pizzi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Merceron United's Alberto Giorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melvin Hathaway in the 24th minute of play. Melvin Hathaway scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Giorda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Claudio Bosso hit a great ball. Frank Pizzi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Melvin Hathaway who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merceron United's Alberto Giorda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zack Ratliff took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Giorda. Alberto Giorda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Melvin Hathaway blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Giorda having to make a save. Melvin Hathaway scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Giorda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Conti to make the kick off. Alberto Giorda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melvin Hathaway showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 53 minute of play. Melvin Hathaway took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Giorda. Alberto Giorda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Rijosos F.C.'s Leo Wang got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Wang came free, but Alberto Giorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Melvin Hathaway came free, but Alberto Giorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Giorda was a little too slow when Zack Ratliff got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Rijosos F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merceron United.
