The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute Guido Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teun Gierman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teun Gierman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Pim van Gaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Bart Koekkoek made a precise shot to the right of Everardo Gipuzkoa. Atlético Montserrat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 35th minute, Johan Heuving hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teun Gierman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Berasko in the 38th minute. Everardo Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pim van Gaal in the 40th minute of the match. The wind increased when Guido Shantala made the kick off in the second half. Wilfred Brunt kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Guido Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute, Cesar Ted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Koekkoek in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Cesar Ted shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teun Gierman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's Nicolas Berasko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teun Gierman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Shantala in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teun Gierman saved Nadzieja Speed Elblag from getting behind. If Nicolas Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Atlético Montserrat could leave the field as winners, despite Nadzieja Speed Elblag having more of the ball for most of the match.
