The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lenílson Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Lenílson Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Jaimes struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Luiz Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real de Carmelo 2021 FC. Miguel Jaimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastián Sosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauan Guerra went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Miguel Jaimes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Miguel Jaimes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Jaimes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Kauan Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Jaimes in the 44th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Wilson Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Jaimes made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Lenílson Travassos got a free kick in the 50th minute. A collision led to Real de Carmelo 2021 FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Monico Montanez hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Zé Carlos Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 57th minute of the game, when Benth Vedelsgaard after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Montesclarense E.C.'s goal. Benth Vedelsgaard was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Miguel Jaimes got a free kick in the 59th minute. Miguel Jaimess short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Luiz Eger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 68 played minutes Real de Carmelo 2021 FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Guiles. Fabián Canobbio charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabián Canobbio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Fabián Canobbio got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Kauan Guerra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastián Sosa skillfully saved the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 72nd minute when Miguel Jaimes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC made a substitution. Cristián Rodriguez replaced Marcelo Tejera. The audience was convinced that Fabián Canobbio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Eger was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Cristián Rodriguez charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristián Rodriguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
