Christoforos Tochouroglou kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of PS Banyuwangi booed when ΠΑΟΚ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thrasivoulos Moisiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osin Laksono in the 19th minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Ilias Peristeropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Todung Tumena made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Alekos Korakakis sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute of the match, Thrasivoulos Moisiadis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Todung Tumena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Dimitris Skevofilakas fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΠΑΟΚ FC's protests and gave Dimitris Skevofilakas a yellow card for diving instead. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PS Banyuwangi. The referee gave ΠΑΟΚ FC a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Thomas Papagiotopoulos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PS Banyuwangi's Todung Tumena. 1-1. Ilias Peristeropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Supriatna, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Edo Hakim hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Todung Tumena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kostas Triantopoulos's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
