Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Björn Lövskog got the match started through his kick off. Kipras Gelžinis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Lövskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Kęstutis Jakubauskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remigijus Damijonas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Remigijus Damijonas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pål Håkansson was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After having played for 17 minutes, Marius Naujokas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lithuanian amber's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Naujokas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Egon Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remigijus Damijonas in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pål Håkansson saved Hockeysnubbarnas BK from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Kęstutis Jakubauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kipras Gelžinis came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Björn Lövskog. But to his dismay, Björn Lövskog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Björn Lövskog managed to work through Lithuanian amber's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Björn Lövskog dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 35 minutes into the match, Marius Naujokas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pål Håkansson. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Naujokas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 37 minutes, Kęstutis Jakubauskas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lithuanian amber and the Hockeysnubbarnas BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hockeysnubbarnas BK booed when Lithuanian amber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kęstutis Jakubauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Kęstutis Jakubauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Kipras Gelžinis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daugirdas Čižiūnas's late challenge caught a Hockeysnubbarnas BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daugirdas Čižiūnas helped the player get up and apologised. Daugirdas Čižiūnas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The wind increased when Kęstutis Jakubauskas made the kick off in the second half. Kęstutis Jakubauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Pål Håkansson made a huge save. With a little luck, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Pål Håkansson got control of the ball when Kęstutis Jakubauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lennart Beckeman hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kęstutis Jakubauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pål Håkansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pål Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigijus Damijonas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Lithuanian amber's Ąžuolas Laucius seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ąžuolas Laucius the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lithuanian amber protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ąžuolas Laucius had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lithuanian amber! The referee gave Hockeysnubbarnas BK a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Björn Lövskog, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lithuanian amber's Kipras Gelžinis. 3-2. When Aras Nutautas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lithuanian amber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aras Nutautas couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Lithuanian amber's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Lövskog came free, but Kipras Gelžinis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pål Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Naujokas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Jakobsson in the 89th minute of play forced Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Kipras Gelžinis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Björn Lövskog made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kipras Gelžinis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hockeysnubbarnas BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
