After 3 minutes, Inocencio Añasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mariachi FC and the CERRO PORTEÑO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mariachi FC's Inocencio Añasco got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Mariachi FC booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Sobrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Mariachi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillelme Andujar came free, but Lorencio Atienza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CERRO PORTEÑO were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Mariachi FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gartxot Antonijoan took the corner. After taking down the ball on CERRO PORTEÑO's corner Gartxot Antonijoan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lorencio Atienza quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th minute Edgardo Ayarza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giraldo Laiseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Ayarza came free, but Giraldo Laiseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Añasco in the 28th minute of play. In the last second Giraldo Laiseca throw himself and got hold of the ball when Inocencio Añasco in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 29 minutes into the game, Inocencio Añasco lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Giraldo Laiseca. 33 minutes into the game, Inocencio Añasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giraldo Laiseca. Inocencio Añasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Ayarza came free, but Giraldo Laiseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Astor Sobrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Fernán Pereda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mariachi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CERRO PORTEÑO the free kick. Fernán Pereda kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillelme Andujar to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Guillelme Andujar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorencio Atienza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Iban Amada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERRO PORTEÑO and the Mariachi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CERRO PORTEÑO! CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Ayarza in the 68th minute of play. Lorencio Atienza made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Astor Sobrido sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mariachi FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Fernán Pereda hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Astor Sobrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Ayarza in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocencio Añasco in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giraldo Laiseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Mariachi FC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Mariachi FC's Inocencio Añasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Giraldo Laiseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Añasco in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Ayarza in the 87th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Giraldo Laiseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute of the match, Astor Sobrido got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lorencio Atienza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gartxot Antonijoan during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Gartxot Antonijoan. 93 minutes into the match, Mariachi FC's Eduard Bacarreza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Añasco in the 94th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Giraldo Laiseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mariachi FC's Miquel Gallardo got a free kick in the 99th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mariachi FC had played much better football throughout.
