Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Ricky Meijers made the kick off and thus started the match. After 7 minutes of play, Black Dog F.C.'s Leonides Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stan Hagemans was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Leonides Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stan Hagemans was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Arturo Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Stan Hagemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Hagemans having to interfere. Gabriel Ubarna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricky Meijers went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the VC zoetwater defense, Leonides Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stan Hagemans. The VC zoetwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stan Hagemans should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Ricky Meijers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC zoetwater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Prospero Nuxila charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Nuxila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Black Dog F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Prospero Nuxila hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Arturo Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Hagemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Hagemans having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnauld Wiechgers during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnauld Wiechgers hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 minutes, Leonides Sancho made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. VC zoetwater's Stan Hagemans tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 61st play minutes Anier Vasco shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Stan Hagemans and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 64th minute, Prospero Nuxila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Meijers in the 65th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Anier Vasco made a precise shot to the right of Stan Hagemans. VC zoetwater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Fred Van Hoeyveld kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Ricky Meijers fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC zoetwater's protests and gave Ricky Meijers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Ricky Meijers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Sancho in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stan Hagemans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. VC zoetwater's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leonides Sancho 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-6. Stan Hagemans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Joseph in the 92nd minute. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Anier Vasco took a quick shot and it went in 2-7 without a chance for Stan Hagemans to make any attempt to save it. The Black Dog F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Black Dog F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
