After 7 minutes, Petre Zăvoianu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Petrolul Berca and the ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Zăvoianu to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes Fellipe Alves shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Nistor Arjoca when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 12th minute Pedro Luís Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Arjoca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Arjoca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Massa in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Doni Meirelles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliodor Birișu. In the 28th match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Zbughină to maneuver through the defense. Nistor Arjoca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Târban was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 39 minutes into the match, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Ciprian came free, but Doni Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilian Ciprian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doni Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 45 played minutes ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Macedo. After recieving a nice pass, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Marioara Birligea tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the game, Eliodor Birișu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doni Meirelles. Eliodor Birișu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernani Massa made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliodor Birișu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Meirelles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlinhos Macedo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Carlinhos Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo da Cunha's late challenge caught a -BZF- Petrolul Berca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
